Alpen Acres has partnered with some local attractions so that you may receive discounts on activities while you are here. Within just a short drive from Alpen Acres, you will find both Tweetsie Railroad and Grandfather Mountain. We are pleased to sell tickets to both of these attractions at a discount. Get them here and avoid long lines when you get there.
If you listen, you can hear the Tweetsie whistle blowing, calling everybody to come take a ride. And what a ride it is! You’ll meet cowboys and Indians and maybe see a shootout with an outlaw. (The good guys always win at Tweetsie.)
Take a whirl on the rides at the Country Fair; and the chair lift will take you up to Miner’s Mountain to have a try at panning for gold. You won’t want to miss the 1800s saloon show. Then experience traditional Mountain dancing and who better to perform it than the Tweetsie Cloggers. And your day would not be complete without some delicious, famous, mouth-watering Tweetsie Fudge.
We are proud to offer our guests discounted tickets to Tweetsie. Please call for prices as they change seasonally.
