From the Blue Ridge Parkway
Get off Parkway at milepost 291 onto Hwy 321 north toward Boone. Go 1/4 mile on Hwy 321. We are up on a hill on the left.
Blue Ridge Parkway Closures
There are two closures traveling south on the Parkway from Linville. There are detoured routes at every closed area to continue the flow of travel.

Take Hwy 321 south toward Blowing Rock. Continue for 4 miles past the last traffic light in Boone (intersection of Deerfield Rd). We are up on a hill on the right.

The long awaited improvement of Hwy 321 between Lenoir and Blowing Rock is underway. There is a misconception that the road is closed. It remains open and will experience only temporary closings. The road MAY be closed for blasting on Tuesdays and Thursdays between noon and 2 pm; however, it will not always be necessary to close the road each Tuesday and Thursday. It is also closed on Monday nights from 7 pm until Tuesday mornings at 5 am. Other delays will be limited to not more than 15 minutes.
DOT will keep the public informed through message signs along the highway and through the media. Travelers can get information from www.ncsmartlink.org or by calling the state's travel information line at 511.
